Transport for NSW (TfNSW)
Partnership Built on Trust and Performance Braille Tactile Signs Aust. is proud to support Transport for NSW across a wide range of transport infrastructure projects, delivering compliant Braille Tactile Signs for rail, metro, bus, ferry, and light rail networks. Our role is to provide durable, fit-for-purpose signage solutions that integrate seamlessly into complex environments, supporting accessibility, usability, and long-term performance across the network. The Relationship Braille Tactile Signs Aust. works closely with Transport for NSW across design, compliance, and prototyping stages, supporting the development of signage solutions aligned with project requirements. We also collaborate with delivery partners and managing contractors responsible for rollout, maintaining strong working relationships across teams to ensure consistency, quality control, and reliable delivery across multiple project environments. The Outcome Our Braille Tactile Signs are designed to perform in demanding, high-traffic public environments. Across stations, interchanges, and transport networks, the signage supports compliance, durability, and legibility, contributing to accessible wayfinding systems that perform reliably over time. Value Over Time Quality is proven over time. Through project development and implementation, the importance of durable, well-specified signage has been reinforced, particularly for large-scale infrastructure where long-term performance is essential. Braille Tactile Signs Aust. focuses on delivering solutions that perform consistently over time, supporting reliability, compliance, and value beyond the initial investment. Project Highlights Braille Tactile Signs Aust. supported the development of Braille Tactile Sign specifications through prototyping and technical design alignment with Transport for NSW project requirements. Working from initial concept designs, alternative construction approaches were explored to ensure suitability for scale, durability, and long-term performance.Through this process, Braille Tactile Signs Aust. developed and presented a fully encapsulated signage solution, supported by technical drawings aligned to project documentation. This approach contributed to the specification of a durable and consistent signage system now implemented across a range of transport environments, including major station upgrades and metro projects. Ongoing rollout is supported through collaboration with managing contractors, with structured signage libraries and quality control processes ensuring consistency across the network. Client Experience “I have known Claudia in a business capacity since my engagement with Central Signs some six years ago. In my role as Senior Project Manager, specialising in our Transport Division, I have consistently required BTS Aust. to produce our Kit of Parts Braille requirements along with many customised works. Throughout this time, I have found their service and delivery to be impeccable, with products always of the highest standard and delivered on time, every time, regardless of the fact that BTS Aust. is in Victoria and our company in NSW. I could not recommend BTS Aust. more highly. Claudia and her team are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our projects are delivered on time.” Grant Franklin, Senior Project Manager,Transport for NSW (TfNSW) Continuing The Partnership We value our ongoing relationship with Transport for NSW and the opportunity to support accessible, reliable wayfinding outcomes across the network. We look forward to continuing to contribute to projects with the same focus on quality, consistency, and long-term performance.

Partnership Built on Trust and Performance Braille Tactile Signs Aust. is proud to support public transport accessibility across Victoria, working with Public Transport Victoria (PTV), formerly Metlink, on large-scale Braille Tactile Sign deployments. Our role is to deliver compliant, durable signage solutions designed to perform in high-traffic, outdoor environments, supporting accessibility, usability, and long-term reliability across the network. The Relationship Our relationship began with Metlink and has continued through to Public Transport Victoria, supporting the ongoing rollout and maintenance of Braille Tactile Timetable and ID signage across the state. We have worked closely with delivery partners over the years, including ongoing collaboration with project teams responsible for rollout and maintenance, ensuring continuity, reliability, and confidence in supply. The Outcome Our Braille Tactile Signs are designed to perform in some of the most demanding real-world conditions. Installed across thousands of bus stops, the signage supports compliance, durability, and legibility in environments exposed to high traffic, weather extremes, and vandalism risk. These outcomes are critical in ensuring consistent accessibility across the network. Value Over Time Quality is proven over time.In high-use public environments, signage must perform reliably over the long term to avoid unnecessary maintenance, replacement, and disruption. Braille Tactile Signs Aust. focuses on delivering solutions that withstand these conditions, supporting long-term reliability, consistent performance over time, and value beyond the initial investment. Project Highlights Braille Tactile Signs Aust. has supported the development and ongoing rollout of a fully customised Braille Tactile Timetable and ID system across metropolitan and regional Victoria. This project has delivered over 26,000 installed units to date, making it one of the largest deployments of its kind. Each sign incorporates a unique identification system, supported by robust quality control processes developed to ensure accuracy and consistency across the network. Following initial verification processes, confidence in the system and manufacturing quality enabled ongoing rollout with complete reliability. Designed using continuous surface encapsulated technology, the signage provides resistance to vandalism and durability in harsh outdoor conditions, supporting long-term usability across the network. Client Experience “For more than a year we worked with Roland, Claudia and the team at BTS Aust. on a project enabling passengers with vision impairments to access timetable information. BTS Aust. provided an outstanding service, producing a quality product that has withstood the harsh environment of public transport while maintaining critical deadlines. We can always rely on BTS Aust. to go the extra distance and accommodate even the most difficult requests.” - Grant Cooper, Project Manager, Metlink “PTV have utilised BTS Aust.’s services across large-scale deployments, delivering compliant signage that performs in harsh outdoor conditions, resists vandalism, and supports critical project deadlines. Their reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to quality continue to support our network.” - Brenda Lyke, Project Officer, Signage – Bus & Tram, PTV “Fantastic company to deal with.
