These Buttons serve a dual purpose: they guide low vision or Blind individuals by marking the start and termination points of handrails and stairways, and they act as a deterrent against potential damage caused by skateboards, rollerblades, and push bikes in public spaces.
For compliant installation of handrail buttons, it is essential to adhere to the standards set by AS/NZS 1428.4.1 and comply with the guidelines outlined in the NCC Section D4D9.
