Continuous Surface Wayfinding Technology:


  • CONSTRUCTION / FINISH:

    Continuous Surface Encapsulated Polycarbonate Membrane or Aluminium Shim

  • CONTINUOUS SURFACE:

    0.5mm Hygienically Clean Pressed Membrane with no add-ons that can be picked off or removed by vandals, or drop off due to adhesion failure.

  • ENCAPSULATED:

    All colours are applied to the reverse of the clear polycarbonate, encapsulating them behind the product. Eg: No colours or graphics applied to the face that can be scratched or washed off.

Generic Manufacturing Specification:

  • CONSTRUCTION / FINISH: Braille signs shall be of a Continuous Surface design. Either encapsulated membrane or metal shim, supplied on a suitable backing for the application.
  • CONTINUOUS SURFACE BRAILLE: Braille shall be hygienically clean pressed into a membrane or metal shim, with no ‘add-ons’ that can be picked off or removed by vandals, or drop off due to adhesion failure.
  • FULLY EMBEDDED or CONTINUOUS SURFACE TACTILE: Tactile shall be ether Fully Embedded offering better vandal resistance, or Fully Continuous Surface with no add-ons that can be picked off or removed by vandals, or drop off due to adhesion failure.
  • ENCAPSULATED: All colours shall be applied to the reverse of the clear membrane, encapsulating them. Eg: No colours or graphics applied to the face that can be scratched or washed off.
  • SPECIAL COATING: UV / Anti-Graffiti coatings applied as required depending.
