The Relationship
Our relationship with CBA began through their Victorian managing contractor, Whytehall Services, who identified the need for a more durable and reliable signage solution.
With a clear understanding of available technologies, Whytehall Services made the decision to implement our Gold Standard Continuous Surface Encapsulated technology (CSE_Tech™), supporting improved durability, hygiene, and long-term usability.
Over time, this approach established a consistent and reliable foundation within the Victorian network.
The Outcome
Following proven performance over time, Braille Tactile Signs Aust. was engaged directly by CBA to support the development and refinement of a national signage range.
Working collaboratively with CBA and Equal Access Group Pty Ltd, the signage was reviewed and certified through a structured process, including:
- Design compliance certification
- Product compliance certification
This resulted in a compliant, standardised Braille Tactile Sign range which continues to be implemented across the national network.

Each sign type is supported by a structured library and inventory system, enabling consistent ordering across managing contractors nationally.
Our ongoing role includes maintaining and expanding the signage range, managing design updates, and supporting coordination across multiple stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality are maintained.
